| WA-C100003 | RWWA Head Office at 14 Hasler Road, Osborne Park WA 6017 was built in the 1980s, covers circa 3,000m2, and now requires significant refurbishment to create a modern office environment for RWWA staff. The works involve base build replacement and works to the building structure, as well as significant internal demolition, creation of a new floor void and stairs, moving an existing passenger lift and fit out and the new space. The project also includes for the supply of new furniture and the installation of re-use of some Client supplier furniture and AV equipment. The project involves working in and around a live environment. The contractor is required to maintain access, power, internet services, air conditioning and fire services to areas of the building throughout the works. The contractor is also required to maximise the number of car bays available to RWWA staff. The contractor is provided with a laydown area to the west of the front entrance door. The Contractor is to work with the consultant team and the RWWA IT team to build a new main comms room, around the existing comms room, and transition all equipment into the new room before wider demolition of the ground floor can occur. | WA-PTA250075 | Background The Public Transport Operations Migration (PTOM) project forms part of the High-Capacity Signalling (HCS) programme of works to accommodate critical infrastructure and personnel to manage the day-to-day operations of Perth’s expanding public transport network. The PTA has constructed a five-storey building, Public Transport Operations Control Centre (PTOCC) that will accommodate the following: Network Control Centre (NCC) Central Monitoring Room (CMR) Network and Infrastructure (N&I) The PTA adopted a staged approach to building and fit-out of the PTOCC with the following stages already completed: Stage 1a – PTOCC base building.
