Background The Public Transport Operations Migration (PTOM) project forms part of the High-Capacity Signalling (HCS) programme of works to accommodate critical infrastructure and personnel to manage the day-to-day operations of Perth’s expanding public transport network. The PTA has constructed a five-storey building, Public Transport Operations Control Centre (PTOCC) that will accommodate the following: Network Control Centre (NCC) Central Monitoring Room (CMR) Network and Infrastructure (N&I) The PTA adopted a staged approach to building and fit-out of the PTOCC with the following stages already completed: Stage 1a – PTOCC base building. Completed in December 2023 Stage 1b – Levels 4 & 5 fit-out. Completed in July 2024 Stage 2a – Ground Level offices fit-out. Completed in December 2024 Stage 2b – Level 1 interim NCC fit-out. Completed in March 2024 As part of the ongoing fit-out, the next, and final stage, of the new PTOCC building, the PTA has a requirement for new functions and modifications to existing functions on levels 1 to 3, including but not limited to, new offices, training rooms, comms and electrical distribution, heating and ventilation and fire services. Stage 3a – Levels 2 & 3 fit-out. Target completion date June 2026 Stage 3b – Level 1 NCC fit-out. Target completion date August 2026 Stage 3c – Level 1 CMR fit-out.
