| WA-CAHS202514464 | The Child and Adolescent Health Services (CAHS) requires the provision of construction and fit out services for the Perth Childrens Hospital (PCH), in order to transition from a bulk food production model to an a la carte, meals on demand service. The primary goal of this project is to implement a Meals on Demand (MOD) system at PCH. This system will enable patient-centric, flexible meal delivery, deviating from traditional fixed meal schedules, and emphasise streamlined service with improved patient satisfaction. In order for this to occur the Contractor is to execute the following tasks in accordance with the concept drawings, engineering assessment (to be provided if required), and equipment list provided by CAHS, to transition the existing kitchen to a room service capable kitchen: Convert the main kitchen from a production plating line/bulk cooking kitchen to a room service delivery model. Install hoarding for the basement 2 main kitchen and level 5 temporary kitchen to ensure compliance with IP&C requirements. Decommission surplus kitchen equipment for repurposing. Manage the project and provide a detailed plan whist following Health guidelines. Collaborate with the equipment supplier to enable the installation and commissioning of the CAHS supplied equipment. The builder to engage subcontractors and provide and install any additional service outlets for equipment if required (e.g., gas, electrical, network, hydraulics).
