Contractors appointed to the Panel will be required to undertake a variety of work to support DFES's fire risk management operations on unallocated crown land (UCL) and unmanaged reserves (UMR). The Panel Arrangement is divided into the following regions: Metropolitan North East; Metropolitan South East; Metropolitan South Coastal; Metropolitan North Coastal; South West; Lower South West; Great Southern; Upper Great Southern; Midlands/Goldfields; Midwest/Gascoyne; Kimberley; and Pilbara. The Services required are divided into four (4) categories: Vegetation Management; Chemical Treatment; Fire Breaks; and Supplementary Services. Note: DFES reserved the right throughout the Term of the Contract to use Local Government services, DFES Volunteer Brigades/Units, DFES staff, and/or other state government departments to conduct controlled burns or mitigation activities at its discretion, giving consideration to location and availability of suitable resources. | Department of Fire and Emergency Services | $35,000,000 |
