| WA-PTA200025 | The PTA Corporate IT Network provides network connectivity for the majority of PTA’s business and operational systems. This includes internal systems such as email and intranet, but also critical operational systems such as Train Control, CCTV, Passenger Information Systems and Ticketing Systems. The current network is built with Cisco network infrastructure. The majority of the equipment within the current network is approaching the end of its support life. The Network Field Replacement project is the first project in a wider program to replace all IT network assets that will reach end of life within the next 3 years. It is essential that network infrastructure is replaced before it reaches end of life and is no longer supported by the vendor. In order for N&I Operational Systems and Technology to effectively maintain and support the Corporate IT Network, the network infrastructure needs to be under vendor support. The key objective of the program and therefore the project is to ensure that network infrastructure within the Corporate IT network that is approaching end of life is replaced. | Public Transport Authority | $3,965,862 |
