| WA-GESB22030 | Background GESB's current intranet facility [the Hive] is on a SharePoint platform which was developed over five years ago. The capability and flexibility of the implementation is unable to meet our business needs. With the changing nature of the workplace with a hybrid model, the need to provide information to staff working remotely is now a key success factor of the new version of the Hive ? referred to as Hive 2.0 Intent GESB is seeking to improve internal communication and collaboration across the business. With GESB staff working from home a minimum of one or two days a week, the intranet becomes a critical tool to provide staff with information and key links to assist in ensuring remote working is as effective and efficient as working in the office. The refreshed GESB Hive will enable employees to easily access important dates visually displayed in calendar format. Intelligent search will allow users to find exactly what they need and suggest results they might not have known existed. An organisational chart and key contacts list will help identify the right people to communicate. The intent is to have a more friendly and intuitive intranet and to provide staff with a full suite of GESB applications and identified external sites. It is also anticipated that the new solution should provide options for staff and GESB to better manage the current hybrid model of working remotely and the ability to look at the office layout and work out where available workstations are on level 30 and book a workstation prior to coming in during the week. The scope of this project will be to transition to a supported and innovative platform that will provide more capability in providing GESB and relevant external information to staff along with providing a better user experience which will result in the HIVE being the source of truth for corporate information. | Government Employees Superannuation Board of WA | $99,693 |
