| WA-PTA230680 | The scope of this engagement is limited to the valuation of PTA?s owned assets contained within PTA?s Fixed Asset Register (FAR) in line with the two asset profiles of Freight Network Infrastructure and Rail Infrastructure. Note that each asset profile represents a number of physical assets, outlined below. Freight Network Infrastructure assets comprise of permanent way (rails, ballast, sleepers, earthworks, culverts, etc.); civil structures (bridges, tunnels, level crossing, roads and approaches); traction power, communications and others. These assets are generally located in remote areas, in addition to site visits, satellite imagery can be used. PTA can provide drone images over the entire Freight Network which will be provided to the successful Consultant. A remoteness factor should also be considered in this profile. Rail Infrastructure assets comprise of permanent way (rails, ballast, sleepers, turnouts etc.); civil structures (bridges, underpasses, tunnels, retaining structures, crash barriers); electrical infrastructure (traction and non-traction power, overhead line equipment); rail stations (structures, car parks); rail systems (level and pedestrian crossing, signals) and railcar depots primarily within the urban rail network. This asset profile is considered to be the most complex. This asset is expected to be an area of significant focus. Specialist personnel with relevant experience in civil, track and electrical engineering are required. Although this primarily comprises urban network, the inclusion of regional stations requires specific distinction due to the material differences from the urban network. This profile requires both valuations, for the financial and insurance purposes. | Public Transport Authority | $548,292 |

| WA-PTA240605 | Goongoongup rail bridge is a PTA owned structure spanning over the Swan River, between East Perth and Burswood (Armadale Line). Following construction of the bridge in 1995, significant south-westerly movement of the eastern abutment and approach structure was observed. Design allowance for displacement was exceeded, requiring remedial action. Part of assessing the structure and determining appropriate remediation included an ongoing monitoring survey program, established in August 2002. Between September 2011 and October 2012, an anchoring system was constructed on the eastern abutment and approach structure to reduce displacement, after which, periodic surveys were continued to monitor ongoing movement and determine effectiveness of the anchoring design. The PTA requires the services of an engineering consultant to oversee a surveyor to continue monitoring surveying, then report on results and provide feedback. | Public Transport Authority | $252,808 |
