| WA-GESB23003 | GESB's purpose is to help members achieve a quality retirement by responsibly managing their retirement savings, achieving long term investment objectives and offering relevant support so they can make informed decisions. In order to achieve our purpose we have identified four key strategic objectives, two of which are the main drivers for increasing digital engagement through our digital strategy: Member experience provide a positive experience for members when they engage with GESB and in their superannuation, resulting in increased member engagement with their superannuation Efficient and effective operations ? value for money products and services. The digital channel is a cost-effective way to engage and service members and deliver on our member communication goals Our vision is to have digital as the main channel used by members to support their information needs, allowing them to easily transact and improve their long-term superannuation benefits. The long-term objective is to use electronic means as the default channel for all communication, moving outbound communications to the digital channel and encouraging inbound queries to self-serve, resulting in member needs being met using cost-effective and secure channels and processes. GESB's websites Squiz manage GESB's three websites: Our public website gesb.wa.gov.au Introduced in May 2017 and undergoing continuous improvement Our statement summaries site statements.gesb.wa.gov.au Introduced in September 2019 and further enhancements made year on year Our secure member portal, Member Online mol.gesb.wa.gov.au Introduced in November 2022 and with a schedule of sprints under way to build on the functionality In order to continue to meet member expectations and deliver on GESB's digital vision, the system needs to provide these valuable member services as well as be secure, flexible and cost effective. This means GESB will continue to build onto our three websites in order to meet our objective. Possible initiatives for the GESB website: Member journeysGESB is working on what the member journey should look like for key life stages such as joining GESB and moving into retirement including improving the UX and deliver on the information needs of each cohort to enable them to make informed decisions. Transitioning the new member welcome pack to digital first, including an automated new member welcome journey with strategic application of tailored content, engagement tools, webforms, and Call To Action (CTA) through to the website. Ensuring our websites and online tools meet the accessibility and inclusivity standards outlined in the WA Government?s Digital Services Policy Framework . Data integrity: collecting member email addresses and mobile numbers Further online forms that don?t require members to login to their account Refining the Information architecture of the website to improve UX Build of new components to enhance the inhouse capability of content development within GESB. (Previously developed accordion, advanced cards, highchart integration). Improved search functionality Implement personalisation Possible enhancements for statement summaries: Updating the site for legislative, disclosure, brand and style consistency changes, including fee and content amendments Making the retirement projections interactive Enhancing current data for investment information to pull data consistently with website Improving investment engagement possibly with design and information enhancements Possible new/additional functionality for Member Online: Pension join online ? the ability to open a new retirement income account online Benefit access forms ? ability to initiate withdrawing money from their account Pension page, including payment frequency and the ability to withdraw additional lump sums Online message centre to include eDefault for member communication pieces Proof of identity Moving all forms online Benefit estimate, the ability to prepare an estimate of the member?s account balance based on a particular retirement date Passwordless login Adviser portal This Request for Quote (RFQ) is issued under CUAICTS2021.
