The Department of the Environment, Tourism, Science and Innovation, Queensland Parks and Wildlife Service (QPWS) invite suitably qualified and experienced contractors, with extensive experience in roofing construction and roof cladding system installation, to submit offers for the P263987 - Mon Repos Turtle Centre Roof Upgrade – Principal Contractor project. The Mon Repos Turtle Centre is a building located at 141 Mon Repos Rd, Mon Repos QLD 4670. The building was built in 2019 and has a mono pitch roof (approximately 6°) structure with lightweight steel roofing and wall cladding, and timber structural diagrid framing supported by timber columns on shallow concrete foundations. The building is generally open plan with some offices, public gathering spaces, and amenities which include a commercially operated café.
