The Department of Youth Justice and Victim Support (the Department) is seeking proposals to deliver the Gold Standard Early Intervention – Proven Initiatives program. This program is designed to prevent and reduce youth offending and improve life outcomes for youth at-risk of offending. The target cohort for this program is youth aged 8 to 17 years who are: displaying early signs of criminal and/or anti-social behaviours (e.g. drug and alcohol misuse, anger management issues); and disengaged from school or at high risk of exclusion; or at risk of coming into contact with police and/or court systems; or siblings of youth on youth justice orders. This group is at risk of escalating into the statutory youth justice system without timely and effective intervention. The program aims to: Provide timely and effective interventions for youth at risk of entering the statutory youth justice system. Strengthen family and community supports to build protective factors. Improve engagement with education, training, or employment. Enhance wellbeing and resilience. Suppliers are expected to deliver structured, evidence-based services that align with these goals and demonstrate measurable outcomes.
