Data, Analytics, and AI Capability Partner
Queensland Rail
Brief
Queensland Rail is seeking to establish a partnership with a supplier for the ongoing provision of data, reporting, analytics, data and AI governance, and AI automation services. Queensland Rail is embarking on a digital transformation journey. Key to this journey are data, Artificial Intelligence (AI) and analytics capabilities and technologies that better enable Queensland Rail to leverage data as a strategic asset and AI as a strategic enabler. While Queensland Rail has foundational technologies in place (see Scope of Services, Attachment A), there is a growing requirement to leverage these technologies and mature organisational data capabilities. Supporting this transformation are internal Data & Automation and Data & AI Governance teams with the following high-level responsibilities: Supporting the delivery of new and existing data, analytics, data & AI governance and AI capabilities and solutions. Supporting internal teams in the production of data visualisations and data science initiatives. Promoting the value of data, analytics and AI and driving an uplift in data and AI literacy. Producing strategic and operational data, analytics and AI artefacts, roadmaps, standards and governance frameworks. Safely and reliably implementing AI whilst upholding new and existing governance frameworks. These responsibilities need to be scaled in response to business demand and often involve new technologies. As such, there is a reliance on industry partners for assistance. There is also a requirement for additional capacity and capability to support the Data & Automation and Data & AI Governance teams’ implementation of other use cases, which is the focus of this engagement.
