DLGWV2026-0237 - Design and Construction of the Kowanyama Treated Water Reservoir

Brief

The Department of Local Government, Water and Volunteers is seeking to engage a contractor to undertake the Design and Construction of the Kowanyama Treated Water Reservoir to address long-standing challenges with the drinking water in the community. The works includes improvements to the Kowanyama water supply infrastructure, security, focusing on increasing the capacity, ensuring reliable clean water to support community growth. The existing reservoir at Kowanyama is being replaced with a larger reservoir to meet the community's water demand. Tenderers are to refer to Invitation to Offer document for further details. A non-mandatory Industry Briefing will be held at 10am AEST, Monday 25 May 2026.
