Brief

The Department of the Environment, Tourism, Science and Innovation, Queensland Parks and Wildlife Service (QPWS) invite suitably qualified suppliers to submit an offer for the P263782 - Wangetti Trail – Ellis Beach to Wangetti, Design & Construction – Camping Area & Infrastructure (D&C) project. The Wangetti trail project is a significant initiative by the Queensland Government to develop a world-class eco-tourism experience in North Queensland. The project aligns with the Queensland Government's objectives to promote regional economic development, enhance tourism infrastructure, and support environmental sustainability. The trail will span approximately 94 kilometres, connecting Palm Cove to Port Douglas, and will include walking trails, suspension bridges, boardwalks, and camping facilities. This procurement seeks a Principal Contractor for design and construction of camping facilities, including toilets, shelter, camping pad, water tank, bike racks and connector trail. This is a Prequalification (PQC) System project. Tenderers must be on the relevant PQC list by the Tender Closing Date and Time.
