The Department of Education (DoE) is calling for tender submissions for the design and construction of a Multi-Purpose Court Upgrade at Bundaberg SHS, located at 37A Maryborough Street, Bundaberg South, QLD, 4670, as part of the Go for Gold (GFG) program. The multi-purpose sports court involves the demolition of the existing bitumen court (including surrounding slab) and the construction of a new multipurpose court with line-marking for relevant sports. The proposed scope also includes a new irrigation system to the Southern oval. The location of the sports court is in the centre of the school campus and the Southern oval has adequate site access and working space. All works are to be completed by July 2026. Tender submissions will be accepted from contractors that meet the following requirements: Appropriate QBCC Builders licences to undertake the entire scope of works Professional Indemnity Insurance to the value of $1,000,000.00 QBCC Licensing and Professional Indemnity Insurance It is anticipated that a minimum of a QBCC (Low Rise) builders’ licence will be required for this project.
