TAFE Queensland is seeking submissions from experienced and capable waste services contractors to deliver comprehensive waste management solutions across its statewide network of campuses. This tender represents a strategic opportunity to support TAFE Queensland’s operational needs while advancing its commitment to sustainability and environmental stewardship. With over 52 campuses located throughout metropolitan, regional, and remote areas of Queensland, the scope of this contract includes the provision of waste collection, disposal, recycling, and reporting services tailored to diverse site requirements. Contractors will be expected to deliver waste services for variety of waste streams including general waste, recyclables, organics, and trade waste, with flexibility to support special events and pilot programs as needed TAFE Queensland encourages submissions from contractors who share its vision for a smarter, greener future and who can demonstrate proven capability in delivering sustainable waste services at scale—while contributing to the educational mission of the organisation. TAFE Queensland has issued this Invitation to Offer with the objectives of: (a) Assess what solutions the market has to offer to meet TAFE Queensland’s requirements; (b) Leverage the collective TQ buying power by each region's procurement requirements; (c) Test the Queensland market to identify potential suppliers to provide value and costs savings with improved services and ensure transparency of the procurement process; (d) Ensure TQ provides a safe working and learning environment across TQ’s campuses for students and staff; (e) To establish an agreement with a single supplier for a three (3) year period with an option to extend for two (2) x twelve (12) month periods; and (f) Establish an agreement that strongly encourages the use of local suppliers and small business within the supply chain.
