Brief
Queensland Rail has several culverts along the Phosphate Hill Branch, which connects the Incitec Pivot Ltd. mine to the Mt Isa Line at Flynn junction near Duchess. Culvert rehabilitation is required at two culvert sites within the balloon loop of the Phosphate Hill Branch. The design and construct contract involves the structural rehabilitation of these culverts. This is a forward notification that a tender for this work will be released shortly and a site visit will be a mandatory requirement, with the visit scheduled to occur on 1st April 2026 at the Phosphate Hill site. This notification is being released to allow participants ample time to make suitable preparations for attending the site visit. Detailed requirements and site visit itinerary will be issued with the tender documents when the tender is released.
