QED 6061 - Windsor State School - OLA

Brief

The Department of Education (DoE) is inviting tenders for the design and construction (D&C) of the Outdoor Learning Area (OLA) refurbishment at Windsor State School. This tender is for a principal contractor to undertake the entire scope of works. The project scope entails a full refurbishment of the existing OLA, including new surfacing and line marking to the courts, construction of a new covered structure with an insulated roof, permeable masonry wall and table seating and installation of artificial turf, seating and plants throughout. Works are to commence in April school holidays and be completed by June. The appointed principal contractor will be responsible for the full scope of works including design and obtaining the relevant statutory approvals. The contractor must deliver a solution that reflects the school’s vision while meeting all applicable building codes, Australian Standards, and DoE guidelines.
