Brief
CQUniversity invites submissions from suitably qualified, registered, experienced Design Consultants and their Subconsultants for the design of the refurbishment of hydrogen laboratories located at our Gladstone Marina campus. Currently, the campus lacks practical laboratories and facilities essential for hydrogen research and related development activities. This project aims to establish a minimum viable laboratory capability, create fit-for-purpose research spaces, and facilitate the installation of the specified equipment detailed in this document. The selected Design Consultant will be involved from the conceptual phase through to the completion of the full design development. The refurbishment of the laboratories will comprise three separate laboratory spaces located across two building. This renovation will support electrolysis, fuel cell testing, decarbonization and hydrogenation studies, material systems integration, and liquid hydrogen apparatus, all while ensuring compliance with relevant safety standards.
