The Department of Education (DoE) is calling for tender submissions for the design and construction of a Block U Amenities at Albany Creek SHS, located at Albany Forest Drive, Albany Creek QLD 4035, as part of the Amenities Renewal (ARP) program. The existing building is single storey and located in the centre of the school with limited site access. The scope of works includes the internal demolition and refurbishment of the existing amenities building, including but not limited to new walls, floors, fittings and fixtures, screens, floors, hydraulics, extraction, electrical, ceilings and painting. All works are to be completed by July 2026. Tender submissions will be accepted from contractors that meet the following requirements: Appropriate QBCC Builders licences to undertake the entire scope of works Professional Indemnity Insurance to the value of $1,000,000.00 QBCC Licensing and Professional Indemnity Insurance It is anticipated that a minimum of a QBCC (Low Rise) builders’ licence will be required for this project.
