Provision of Appian Support and Development Services for Queensland Government Insurance Fund (QGIF)

The purpose of this procurement activity is to obtain Appian Support and Development Services for QGIF’s Appian platform. The Appian platform is a cloud-based platform used by QGIF to manage insurance claims for loss or damage to real or personal property in the control of insured government agencies and claims by third parties who are seeking compensation from an insured agency for personal injury, property damage or other damages. The platform also facilitates the approval of invoices from legal service providers and payments of premiums by insured government agencies. The Supplier is required to develop and support an Appian platform hosted in a cloud Platform-As-A-Service (PAAS) environment. The Customer will continue to maintain a separate agreement with Appian for the provision of this platform, which includes licences, backup, and storage. While the scope of this RFQ encompasses services to support the Customer in managing the platform, the Supplier will not have any responsibility or obligations related to the management or administration of the Customer’s contract with Appian. However, the Supplier must have a direct line of communication with Appian so the Supplier can advise the Customer of important and time critical information. The initial contract term is for 3 years from 1 July 2026 to 30 June 2029. For the Development Services, Key Personnel and other Brisbane based personnel to be located in the QGIF office at least 50% during business hours. All Support Services must be provided from within Australia.
