The Department of Primary Industries, through the National Fire Ant Eradication Program (the Program), is seeking offers for the provision of Remote Piloted Aircraft (RPA) - Drone Services. Suppliers will be required to provide the following services: Aerial Treatment and application of eradication treatment product over a vast array of geographical area and obstacles, to assist with the eradication of Fire Ants throughout Southeast Queensland and Northern New South Wales. The suppliers will be required to distribute eradication treatment product in accordance with the Program's current Australian Pesticides and Veterinary Medicines Authority (APVMA) Permits. The RPA providers will be responsible for (but not limited to) the following: Treatment Services Operating environment - technology Approvals Safety and Compliance Aircraft Workforce Operational support Insurances Whole of Life support: Quality requirements Testing and calibration Incident Management Fatigue Management Transition In / Transition Out The complete contract requirements are specified in the attached Part B – Contract Details, Schedule 1 – Requirements. **INDUSTRY BRIEFING*** This RFQ has an optional industry briefing at 11:00am on Wednesday, 28 January 2026 online via Microsoft Teams. It is not mandatory for Suppliers to attend the briefing session in order to submit a quote. Further information on registration can be found in the Part A - RFQ document.
