The Department of Education (DoE) is calling for tender submissions for the design and construction of the Amenities Renewal project at Victoria Point SS, located at School Road, Victoria Point QLD 4165. The works comprise of the demolition of an existing adjacent Amenities Block in addition to the reconfiguration and refurbishment of the existing Senior Amenities Block including but not limited to the installation of new floor finishes, cubicles, painting, fixtures and associated hydraulic and electrical works. All works are to be completed by May 2026. Tender submissions will be accepted from contractors that meet the following requirements: Appropriate QBCC Builders licences to undertake the entire scope of works Professional Indemnity Insurance to the value of $1M Minimum Level 2 PQC eligibility Minimum PQC Level 2 Eligibility required. Where a PQC Level is stated, the Principal is not obliged to provide tender documents, consider or accept a tender unless the tenderer is appropriately registered under the Queensland Government's PQC System for that PQC Level (or higher) and categories for which the tender is invited. QBCC Licensing and Professional Indemnity Insurance It is anticipated that a minimum of a QBCC (Low Rise) builders’ licence will be required for this project.
