Invitation to Tender: QRP-25-75 – Supply, Delivery and Commissioning of Two (2) Narrow Gauge Hi-rail Elevating Work Platform Vehicles SCOPE OVERVIEW Queensland Rail Ltd (Queensland Rail) is one of Australia’s largest rail transport providers. As an integrated rail business with more than 150 years of operational experience, serving the freight, tourism and passenger markets, it provides safe passenger services within the Brisbane metropolitan area and key regional centres throughout the State of Queensland. Queensland Rail is seeking a Contractor for the supply, delivery and commissioning of two (2) narrow gauge hi-rail elevating work platform vehicles. The objective of this RFP process is information to complete an evaluation and selection of a Tenderer that meets the requirements of this RFP and offers the best fit functionally, technically and commercially, which includes value for money. The equipment will be used for overhead line equipment and structures inspections and maintenance on the South-East Queensland network. This includes in tunnels, in yards and on open track. During work, the equipment may be on the rail track, or on the ground. Refer to Scope of Work, Specification, Schedule of Particulars and accompanying tender documentation for specific equipment requirements. The contractor is responsible for all transport up to and including final delivery to Banyo depot. The completed equipment shall be delivered for training and final commissioning to: Queensland Rail Plant Maintenance Depot End of Guardhouse Road Banyo Queensland 4014 Australia TENDER PROCESS TIMEFRAME The anticipated timeframes following the Tender release are: Closing Date of Tender - 02:00pm AEST on Wednesday 14th January 2026 Evaluation Process - January–March 2026 Estimated Award Date – April-May 2026 (indicative) Queensland Rail reserves the right to alter the above dates throughout the Tender Process should the need arise.
