The Department of Education (DoE) is calling for tender submissions for the design and construction of an Administration Refurbishment at Capricornia SDE, located at Corner Gray and Gladstone Streets, Emerald, QLD, 4720, as part of the Direct (DIRECT) program. The works include complete refurbishment of the existing administration building with new walls to suit the new layout, new fittings and finishes throughout. The position of the building is at the front of the school with easy site access and ample working space. All works are to be completed by the end of April 2026 Tender submissions will be accepted from contractors that meet the following requirements: Appropriate QBCC Builders licences to undertake the entire scope of works Professional Indemnity Insurance to the value of $ 1 Million QBCC Licensing and Professional Indemnity Insurance It is anticipated that a minimum of a QBCC (Low Rise) builders’ licence will be required for this project.
