Supply of Performance Health Practitioner Services (Nutrition) – Sailing (Brisbane)

Brief

QAS is looking for ONE experienced sports dietitian with high level experience working in an Elite Sports Environment / High Performance Systems to provide nutrition support to athletes in the QAS Sailing program, including podium, developing and emerging athletes. The role is based in Brisbane, with services delivered primarily from Sleeman Sports Complex and Royal Queensland Yacht Squadron (Manly). The successful practitioner will also be responsible for developing strategies to support exceptional High-Performance outcomes.?? The role requires a commitment equivalent to one day per week, which may be scheduled flexibly to meet program and athlete requirements. Services are required over 48 weeks per 12-month period. The proposed contract is for an initial term from 16 February 2026 to 28 February 2027, with an option to extend for a further 2 years till 28 February 2029 at the discretion of QAS. The Contract Price will be calculated based on a daily rate for the number of days that the Services are provided. The daily rate will be negotiated with the successful Supplier, depending on their level of experience and qualifications, and will be between the range of $525 to $600 per day (ex. GST), based on an 8-hour workday. For clarity, the Supplier will not be paid for days when the Services are not provided, including Public Holidays and where the Supplier is absent (due to illness or other reasons). Responses are sought from individual practitioner/s who have the appropriate qualifications, experience, expertise and capacity to provide the required services.
