Industry Briefing Notice 2027 Road Asset Management Contracts – Metropolitan and South Coast Regions The Department of Transport and Main Roads (TMR) invites organisations interested in delivering critical network wide asset management and maintenance services for the Southeast Queensland State-Controlled Road network to attend an Industry Briefing for the upcoming 2027 Road Asset Management Contract (RAMC) tenders for the Metropolitan and South Coast Regions. To achieve value-for-money outcomes for the State-Controlled Road network, the RAMC will focus on strategic asset preservation through a holistic approach to asset management and maintenance services for pavement and drainage requirements. The scope includes: Routine Maintenance Work Programmed Maintenance Work Rehabilitation Maintenance Work Minor Improvement Work Asset Management Services Design Services Pre-construction Testing. Key Details: The Industry Briefing will provide a high-level update on: Scope of works and out-of-scope services Key changes in the upcoming contracts Prequalification requirements Procurement timelines Overview of the tender assessment process. Tender Release: Expected April 2026 (post-Easter) Commencement: New contracts to be fully operational from 1 July 2027 Minimum Prequalification Requirements: R2 and B1 (Major), A2 (Minor), F75 (Financial), and desired design prequalification levels such as HE1, HD1, TE1, GE1, BD1, CE1, ES1, FC1, and DAI1. Industry Briefing Details: Time: 2:00pm AEST Date: Monday 8 December 2025 Location: 61 Mary Street, Brisbane QLD 4000 or a virtual link will be emailed to those attending online. Please note: The RAMC Industry Briefing is intended for prospective tenderers with the necessary prequalification/s, resources, capacity, and capability to deliver the full scope of services under the contract. Subcontracting arrangements will not be discussed at this session. Registration: Interested parties must register by 5:00pm AEST on Monday 1 December 2025. Attendance is limited to two representatives per company and only pre-registered personnel will be admitted. Please note that seating at the venue is limited therefore, in-person registrations will be confirmed in the order they are received.
