Anzac Square - Facilities Maintenance and Management

Brief
The Queensland Veterans’ Council (QVC) is seeking a suitably qualified supplier to provide full facilities maintenance and management services for Anzac Square, a heritage-listed memorial precinct located in Brisbane’s CBD. The services required include ongoing maintenance, operational management, and event support across all internal and external site assets as detailed in the Scope of Works. The required services include, but are not limited to: Horticultural maintenance: management of trees, turf, garden beds and landscaped areas Water features maintenance: cleaning, water quality management, debris removal and pump servicing Park assets maintenance: upkeep of monuments, plaques, seating, fencing and heritage structures Pathways and hardstand maintenance: cleaning, repairs, hazard removal and surface maintenance Building services: repairs, HVAC servicing, doors, fire panel testing and internal finishes maintenance Electrical systems: lighting, power distribution, switchboards and emergency lighting management Irrigation and stormwater systems maintenance Cleaning and security services, including patrols and gallery cleaning requirements Event coordination and support for commemorative and other QVC-directed events (setup, liaison, road closures, WHS, post-event remediation) ICT and security systems management, including CCTV, access control and AV equipment servicing Services are required from 1 January 2026 to 31 December 2030. A mandatory site visit will be held at Anzac Square on 25 November 2025 at 11:00am to inspect horticulture, pathways, water features, buildings, galleries, electrical and irrigation assets. Most services are required onsite at Anzac Square, though certain ICT, administration, asset management and reporting tasks may be undertaken remotely. This Request is intended to engage a provider with demonstrated capability in heritage-sensitive maintenance, public-space asset management, and coordinated delivery across multiple technical service areas.
