Brief
The Office of Liquor and Gaming Regulation (OLGR) has issued this Invitation to Offer with the objective of sourcing a suitably qualified organisation with experienced service delivery to First Nations communities with the capacity to include services to prevent and minimise gambling harm. This will include provision of information, community engagement and education activities and access to treatment and support services in a culturally responsive way, responding to the needs of people and affected others from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander backgrounds. You will deliver services directly and use your extensive networks to streamline supported referrals for community members to culturally safe local services and activities. You will increase awareness of gambling harm in First Nations communities and contribute to building capability of GHSS providers to identify and better respond to the needs of First Nations service users experiencing gambling harm.
