Forward Notice to all Uniform Suppliers

Brief

Attention All Prospective State School Uniform Suppliers (refer to the enclosed Forward Notice for details and links). The Department of Education (the Department) will release QED121653 in January 2026, a tender for the supply of state school uniforms across Queensland which will replace the existing supply arrangement, DETSOA 78764. Suppliers interested in supplying uniforms to Queensland state schools are to note the below information and are requested to commence the Safer Technologies 4 Schools (ST4S) Readiness Check. Suppliers intending to submit an Offer under QED121653 whose ICT platforms collect, store or transmit personal customer information must complete the national ST4S assessment (Readiness Check and Full Assessment) to demonstrate compliance with the department’s security and privacy requirements. Successful completion of these assessments will be a mandatory requirement for QED121653. To allow sufficient time for completion, Suppliers are strongly encouraged to commence the ST4S Readiness Check well before the tender opens in January 2026. After successfully completing the ST4S Readiness Check, Suppliers will be invited to complete the ST4S Full Assessment. Refer to the enclosed Forward Notice for details and links.
