Request for Information: Mobile Data Dispatch and Communication Solution

Brief

The Queensland Ambulance Service (QAS) is issuing a Request for Information (RFI) for a modern, enterprise-grade Mobile Data Dispatch and Communication Solution. Goods or Services Required: QAS seeks to replace its current fleet of approximately 1,000 fixed-vehicle Mobile Data Terminals (MDTs) with a comprehensive solution to service approximately 6,500 users. The required solution will include: A core software platform (likely SaaS) for dispatch, messaging, mapping, and real-time location tracking. Compatibility with a range of modern, non-proprietary hardware (e.g., iOS/Android tablets and smartphones). Professional services for system integration, particularly with the existing QAS Computer-Aided Dispatch (CAD) system. A robust, ongoing managed service agreement for 24/7/365 support and maintenance. Expected Timing: This RFI is for market research and planning purposes to inform a future procurement strategy. The closing date for RFI submissions is 2:00 pm AEST, 04 November 2025. Location of Delivery: The solution will be deployed to QAS staff operating across the entire state of Queensland, including metropolitan, regional, and remote locations. Implementation and support services may be provided remotely, however, a demonstrated local or Australian-based support capability is highly desirable.
