Sunnybank Hills State School - New GLA and Admin Extension

Brief

The Department of Education (DoE) is calling for submissions from PQC eligible contractors for the 3 separable portion construction of: New 2-storey GLA building with associated covered links connecting the building back into the main school. The location of this new building will be on the existing tennis courts. Demolition and relocation of the existing tennis courts to a new location towards the front of the school. Extension to the existing admin block (including some refurbishment work to the remaining spaces) to accommodate redefined reception area, visitor experience and office areas. The extension will have elements of demolition works; potential asbestos removal and upgrade works to existing services. Removal of three (3) existing temporary buildings (R10,11 & 15) including make good upon removal. A provision for shade structure at R11. Refurbishment of E-Learning Centre to enhance ventilation and natural light environment, fixed furniture and fittings and improve functional layout. R12 & R13 to be relocated, but it has not been determined. Will be included as provisional sum. New carparking facilities at the northern end of the site off Borella road. Any reconfiguration of existing carparking in the admin building required caused due to extension. Refer drawings. General Landscaping including shade structures around the buildings as specified in the drawings.
