Tenders are invited to tender for the 46C Dawson Highway (Bauhinia to Rolleston) Pavement Rehabilitation Works on the below locations within Central Highlands Regional Council: Section 1: CH 153.200 –154.630 km Section 2: CH 155.100 –156.030 km Section 3: CH 156.250 –157.200 km Section 4: CH 104.285 –105.300 km The indicative construction works include: Apply 50 mm corrector material (Type 2.1) over the full lane and shoulder width. This includes the filling of ruts and edge drop-offs Pulverise the existing pavement to a depth of 500 mm below DFSL across the full pavement width using GPS machine control on the stabiliser Using a grader, windrow the top pulverised material to achieve a compacted and trimmed level of the remaining pulverised material layer at 200 mm below DFSL Shape and compact the batter slopes using the windrowed pulverised material. Shape and trim the compacted surface to 200 mm below DFSL across the full width prior to incorporating the stabilising agent. Stabilise to 350 mm depth (from 200 mm to 550 mm below DFSL) across the full width as per the Contract Import Type 2.1 unbound granular material and construct a 200 mm unbound granular layer on top of the completed triple blend subbase, in accordance with the Contract.
