Vessel Refit 'PV Mentana' - Cairns

Brief

The Department of Primary Industries through Qld Boating and Fisheries Patrol (QBFP), are tendering for a supplier to carry out a refit on the 6.3m Quintrex Patrol Vessel ‘Mentana’. The Patrol Vessel is a trailered 6.35m aluminium Quintrex Legend, commissioned in 2015. The vessel is powered by 2 X Honda 100 hp outboards. The vessel will require stripping back to bare hull to inspect internal and external hull, along with replacement of all wiring and electronic gauges. The vessel trailer will also be required to be stripped back and cleaned, along with new running equipment and electrical. The vessel outboards will require limited repairs and remain as current outboards on the vessel. The vessel will be located in Cairns and transport to and from the QBFP Operations will need to be included in the tender process, a virtual site inspection is available upon request to the contract manager.
