Department of Transport and Main Roads (TMR) prequalified contractors, consultants for engineering projects and industry partners are invited to attend an Industry Briefing for the upcoming 32A Kennedy Highway – Barron River Bridge Kuranda Replacement (BRBKR) Project. BRBKR project is located in Kuranda, North Queensland approximately 29km from Cairns and the scope includes construction of a new bridge and associated infrastructure, and demolition of the existing bridge once the new bridge is open to traffic. This industry briefing will provide industry with a broad understanding of the challenges and scope for BRBKR, the type of skills required, the method of procurement, the likely budgets available and the timing of the work entering the market, of interest to both contractors and consultants. The BRBKR industry briefing is being held on Friday 12th September 2025 between 10:00am and 11:00am via Teams. For a teams invitation email [email protected] by 12pm Thursday 11th September and interested parties will receive invite to attend. A limit of two invites per company may attend the event. Registrations must include the names of those attending the briefing. Registrations for this event close on Thursday, 11 September 2025 at 12:00 noon.
