Invitation to Tender: QRP-25-31 – Supply of Consumables and Testing for Heat and Hydration SCOPE OVERVIEW Queensland Rail is seeking a Contractor for the supply and quality control of consumable hydration products, training and associated testing services as part of the Network Safety Heat and Hydration Management program preventing risk of heat-related illness. The objective of this RFP process is to establish a minimum of 1 preferred Contractor(s) for the provision of some or all of the range of Goods and Services required as set out in the Scope of Work, while providing the best value for money for Queensland Rail. The following hydration products and associated materials for hydration testing form part of this scope. The goods and/or services tendered shall include, but may not be limited to: Consumable electrolyte replacement products for hydration (with coverage for varied dehydration risk levels, such as low / medium / high) Test equipment to conduct hydration testing (which may include associated consumable products to facilitate the nominated hydration testing methodology) Training of Queensland Rail representatives (which may include training for hydration testing and/or scientific informational hydration education) Delivery location is nominated as the following Queensland Rail site: Queensland Rail - IML Distribution Centre, 347 Bilsen Road, Geebung, QLD, 4034 This main delivery address is subject to change throughout the course of the Contract term and will be advised to the Contractor if/when any such change occurs. Provision of training shall be at a Queensland Rail Office or Depot and/or a suitable location in Queensland convenient to Queensland Rail to allow operation of the equipment.
