FORWARD NOTIFICATION: UPCOMING INVITATION TO OFFER and MANDATORY PRE-MARKET BRIEFING for C2613 Biosolids Transport, End Use and Disposal and Onsite Drying Operations Please see attached C2613 Forward Notice and Market Briefing Details for further details on the requirements and market briefing registration. Urban Utilities is one of the largest water distributor-retailers in Australia, responsible for delivering drinking water, recycled water and sewerage services to a population of more than 1.6 million in South East Queensland. Urban Utilities owns and operates 26 Resource Recovery Centres (RRCs), producing an average annual tonnage of 190,000 wet tonnes of biosolids each year, which then undergo treatment and eventual offtake. Additionally, Urban Utilities owns and operates seven (7) Regional RRCs that treat wastewater using lagoon processing, with a total of 24 lagoons, requiring periodic harvesting of biosolids. Urban Utilities has an ongoing requirement for Biosolids Transport, Disposal and End Use and Onsite Drying Operations. The Invitation to Offer (ITO) will include the following four (4) Packages for an initial contract term of five (5) years. PACKAGE A - Onsite Drying Operations PACKAGE B - Inter-site Transport & Landfill PACKAGE C - End use (including remediation) PACKAGE D - Lagoon Harvesting / Management Respondents may submit an Offer for one, multiple or all packages and/or submit an alternative solution that aligns with applicable legislation. Suppliers are invited to attend a mandatory Pre-Market Briefing to ensure that all aspects of the proposed Services, Urban Utilities Biosolids strategy, objectives and success measures are understood. Attendance at the Briefing is mandatory to receive access to the C2613 ITO documentation. The Briefing will be held in-person at 31 Duncan Street, Fortitude Valley, 4006 on Monday 15 September 2025 at 3:00 to 4:00PM. Virtual meeting invitations will not be provided.
