The Department of Education (DoE) is calling for tender submissions for the design and construction of a Block B refurbishment at Capricornia SDE, located at 241-259 Farm Street, Kawana Qld 4701, as part of the School Direct (DIRECT) program. The works include the reconfiguration and refurbishment of the IT Services hub and teaching studios in Block B The position of the building is in the middle of the school with limited site access and working space. All works are to be completed by the 7th of November 2025. Tender submissions will be accepted from contractors that meet the following requirements: Appropriate QBCC Builders licences to undertake the entire scope of works Professional Indemnity Insurance to the value of $ 1 Million QBCC Licensing and Professional Indemnity Insurance It is anticipated that a minimum of a QBCC (Low Rise) builders’ licence will be required for this project. Contractors are required to hold Professional Indemnity Insurance in accordance with the contract.
