CQUniversity Australia (CQU) invites tenders from suitably qualified and experienced Design Consultants and their appointed subconsultant teams for the design of its new Melbourne campus located at 120 Harbour Esplanade. The successful Design Consultant will be engaged from concept through to full design development (100%) with the intention of being novated to the construction contractor upon completion of a 30% design milestone. Our programme for the delivery of this project is constrained by external factors largely beyond our control. As the lease on our new premises at 120 Harbour Esplanade has only just been secured, we have had little opportunity to undertake any preliminary planning or preparatory work. Our current lease at 120 Spencer Street, Melbourne expires on 31 December 2026 and CQU needs to vacate the premises prior to this date. To ensure uninterrupted operations and business continuity, the new campus must be operational by 1 January 2027. We are, therefore, keen to hear only from Tenderers who have the capacity to commit to meeting our delivery timeframes.
