The Department of Education (DoE) is calling for tender submissions for the design and construction of a Drop & Go Zone at Everton Park SHS, located at 668 Stafford Rd, Everton Park QLD 4053, as part of the School Transport Infrastructure Program (STIP) program. The scope of works includes but is not limited to the demolition, design, reconstruction of existing entrance, driveway, drop off bays, carpark, fencing, hardstands and signage including disabled compliant access from the street and temporary isolation of services during key “windows of opportunity” to suit client. The works include the removal of existing trees per Arborist report. The position of the works is at the front of the school and therefore, the scope of works will interrupt school site access and directly affect their operational working space. All works are to be completed by January 2026. Tender submissions will be accepted from contractors that meet the following requirements: ? Appropriate QBCC Builders licences to undertake the entire scope of works ? Professional Indemnity Insurance to the value of $1 million, and QBCC Licensing and Professional Indemnity Insurance It is anticipated that a minimum of a QBCC (Low Rise) builders’ licence will be required for this project. Contractors are required to hold Professional Indemnity Insurance in accordance with the contract.
