The Department of Education (DoE) is calling for tender submissions for the design and construction of a Tuckshop Refurbishment at Amberley District SS, located at 37 Deebing Creek Rd, Yamanto QLD 4305, as part of the Playground and Tuckshop Grant (PTG) program. The scope of works is broken up into three sections: 1. The supply and installation of a new independent air conditioning system for the office area, as well as a dedicated system for the kitchen and serving areas. 2. As part of the kitchen refurbishment, works will involve the installation of a new cooker hood with appropriate ducting and extraction, the supply and installation of new cooking appliances including ovens and stovetops, and modifications to the existing stainless-steel countertops to accommodate the revised kitchen layout and equipment. A new full-height pantry unit will be installed, and two existing windows will be permanently sealed in accordance with the approved design and compliance requirements. 3. In addition, joinery works will include the fabrication and installation of new doors to the existing cabinetry. All works are to be completed by December 2025. Tender submissions will be accepted from contractors that meet the following requirements: Appropriate QBCC Builders licences to undertake the entire scope of works Professional Indemnity Insurance to the value of $ 1M QBCC Licensing and Professional Indemnity Insurance It is anticipated that a minimum of a QBCC (Low Rise) builders’ licence will be required for this project. Contractors are required to hold Professional Indemnity Insurance in accordance with the contract.
