QED 5314 Kruger SS - Tuckshop and FlexiSpace Refurbishment (with Design Responsibility)

The Department of Education (DoE) is calling for tender submissions for the design and construction of the Tuckshop and FlexiSpace Refurbishment at Kruger SS, located at 170 Kruger Parade, Bellbird Park QLD 4300, as part of the Playground and Tuckshop Grant (PTG) and FlexiSpace (FLEX) program. The scope of works for the Tuckshop comprises of a complete refurbishment of all existing internal areas incorporating a new cold room, significant upgrades to the main kitchen area, creation of a separate uniform shop in addition to the demolition and replacement of the existing roof system. The scope of works for the FlexiSpace comprises of a new concrete slab and shade structure linked to Classroom 4 of Teaching Block 6, in addition to minor repairs and internal refurbishment works. All works are to be completed by December 2025. Tender submissions will be accepted from contractors that meet the following requirements: Appropriate QBCC Builders licences to undertake the entire scope of works Professional Indemnity Insurance to the value of $1,000,000.00 QBCC Licensing and Professional Indemnity Insurance It is anticipated that a minimum of a QBCC (Low Rise) builders’ licence will be required for this project. Contractors are required to hold Professional Indemnity Insurance in accordance with the contract. Submissions close on Friday, 8 August 2025 at 3:00pm via email to [email protected]
