DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORT AND MAIN ROADS MACKAY/WHITSUNDAY DISTRICT 2025/26 ASPHALT PROGRAM Project No: 3131195 Contract Number: CN-24477 Tenders are invited to tender for the Mackay/Whitsunday District’s 2025/26 Asphalt Program of works at various locations across the State-Controlled Road network within the Whitsunday Regional Council region. Locations included in this year’s program include: Site ID 10K: Bruce Highway (Bowen - Ayr), Abbot Point Road Intersection Site ID 88A/B: 88A Bowen Developmental Road (Bowen - Collinsville) WIM Site, 88A Bowen Developmental Road (Bowen - Collinsville) & 88B Developmental Road (Collinsville - Belyando Crossing); Collinsville Roundabout. Site ID 851: 851 Proserpine - Shute Harbour Road; Paluma Road to Galbraith Park Drive, Tropic Rd to Stewart Drive, Starfish Roundabout to Orana Drive & Raintree Place Roundabout Site ID DWS: 851 Proserpine - Shute Harbour Road; Myrtle Creek Bridge, Brandy Creek Bridge, Airlie Creek Bridge and 8501 Gregory - Cannon Valley Road; Crofton Creek Bridge Primary scope of works in the milling and replacement of existing asphalt surface with Dense Graded wearing course, including bridge deck wearing surface locations. Provisional items have been included for the potential of deep lift patches involving a SAMI or Primerseal coat and intermediate asphalt layer.
