CQURFQ-25-14-DFM - CNS New Campus Design & Construct Project

Brief

CQU is inviting suitably qualified and experienced contractors to submit a tender offer for the design and construction of its New Cairns Campus. CQU has obtained funding from the Federal Government for the development of a new campus to be located on land that is being ‘gifted’ to the University by the Cairns Regional Council (under an agreement) at the corner of Hartley and Grafton Streets, Cairns. The project has been developing since 2018 and a portion of the funding has been approved for the design effort. CQU is deploying a Project Manager and support team towards this activity to ensure thorough engagement with stakeholders and contractor representatives as well as to appropriately represent the interests of the University as the Principal. The Project Manager will be the nominated Superintendent/Superintendent’s Representative.
