Future Statewide Arrangement for the provision of Occupational Violence Prevention Training [CSD124967] The Department of Health (DoH) aims to establish a Preferred Supplier Panel (PSP) for the provision of Occupational Violence Prevention Training to Eligible Customers in Queensland. Background: Preventing occupational violence is a priority for Queensland Health, and we are committed to reducing the potential for physical injury and psychological harm by providing healthcare workers with the knowledge and skills to mitigate the harms of occupational violence. Queensland Health comprises 16 Hospital and Health Services (HHSs), managing over 230 different facilities. These facilities provide Queenslanders with access to specialist care, emergency care, oral health, residential aged care and mental health, alcohol and other drugs care. It employs more than 107,000 full-time equivalent (FTE) staff. Purpose: The purpose of the procurement activity of the Occupational Violence Prevention Training is to source a training program that can educate and equip all staff with the skills and knowledge to prevent and manage violence in the healthcare sector.
