The Department of Education (DoE) is calling for tender submissions for the design and construction of an Enclosure of Shade Structure at Mayfield SS, located at Paget St, Carina, QLD, 4152, as part of the Election Commitment (ELECTION COMM) program. Mayfield SS has an existing covered playground facing Paget Street. The project is to remove the existing chain link fencing and replace with acoustic panels that incorporate new entrance doors. There are also minor modifications to the carpark. There are few access restrictions to the stie. All works are to be completed by December 2025. Tender submissions will be accepted from contractors that meet the following requirements: Appropriate QBCC Builders licences to undertake the entire scope of works Professional Indemnity Insurance to the value of $1,000,000.00 QBCC Licensing and Professional Indemnity Insurance It is anticipated that a minimum of a QBCC (Low Rise) builders’ licence will be required for this project. Contractors are required to hold Professional Indemnity Insurance in accordance with the contract. Details of the site inspection will be advised in the email and letters to tenderers.
