Rockhampton Regional Council is seeking a suitably qualified Contractor to conduct power distribution upgrades at the Rockhampton Showgrounds and Victoria Park Precinct. The Rockhampton Showgrounds and Victoria Park Precinct are key regional assets, serving as versatile venues for major events, exhibitions, and community gatherings. However, the current infrastructure does not meet the demand of contemporary event hosting or support the full potential of the Precinct as a premier destination for large-scale events. An electrical distribution and communication services revision is required to ensure the Precinct can facilitate future events and cement the city as a regional cultural destination.
