T1448 - Construction of Toogoolawah Swimming Pool Amenities

Brief

Somerset Regional Council (SRC) is seeking to engage an appropriately experienced Head Contractor (incorporating a team of all necessary sub-consultants and sub-contractors) for provision of the full range of demolition and construction services required for the construction of the Toogoolawah Swimming Pool Amenities Building. The facility is located at Factory Road, Toogoolawah. It is understood to have originally opened in 1975 with recent upgrades being completed as part of Stage 1 works. Stage 1 upgrades consisted of the demolition of the existing 25m pool, wading pool, concourses, equipment room structure, and shade structure with construction of a new 25m x 8 lane lap pool including balance tank and disabled access ramp, filtration plant, heating plant and sanitation system; a new equipment room and driveway; a new roof structure over the pool and other shade sail structures to grassed areas; ne...
