PR000132 Acquisition & Removal of Manure

Brief

Charters Towers Regional Council invites tenders from suitably qualified tenderers for appointment as a preferred supplier for the acquisition and removal of manure as described in the tender documents. All options and submissions will be considered, with Council determining the submission that provides the best overall value. Tenderers will be required to remove manure from the designated stockpile at an agreed cost per m3. Removal activities are to occur at times favorable to saleyard operations and as agreed with Council. Council considers that the manure, as a resource, may provide opportunities to create a new business/industry or to value-add to an existing business/industry and welcomes interest in that regard. Council reserves the right to invite all tenderers to change their tenders to take account of a change in the tender specification.
