Brief

Hinchinbrook Shire Council (the Principal) invites tenders from suitably qualified and experienced contractors for the demolition and removal of structures located at 7–17 Herbert Street, Ingham QLD, as described in detail in Part 5 – Scope. This Request for Tender (RFT) is issued in response to regulatory action undertaken by Council under the Building Act 1975 (Qld), following inspections and professional assessments which identified that the buildings and associated structures on the site are in a dangerous, dilapidated condition and unfit for use or occupation. Independent building certification and structural engineering inspections have confirmed the presence of significant structural deterioration, including failed structural elements, water ingress, foundation movement, and collapse of internal components.
