RFT CT2026060 Wagga Wagga Strategic Traffic Model Update

Brief

Wagga Wagga City Council invites quotations from suitably qualified transport modelling consultants (the Consultant) to consolidate multiple existing traffic models into a single, coherent modelling suite within Aimsun Next Expert. This includes developing the modelling architecture across strategic, mesoscopic and microscopic tiers. The scope includes rebuilding the strategic modelling component within Aimsun Next Expert, calibrating and validating current year base models, and developing future year scenarios at fiveyear intervals over a thirty 30year planning horizon. The engagement also requires the provision of comprehensive documentation, reproducible modelling workflows, training for Council staff, and a standing offer arrangement for ongoing technical support services.
